Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Maxim Oreshkin chaired the latest meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the Development of Digital Economy Ecosystems and Digital Platforms. The working group reviewed reports from expert groups on the Education and Employment tracks.

Taking part in the discussion werre Minister of Labour and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, and Director General of the Russian Export Centre Veronika Nikishina, along with members of the interdepartmental working group and representatives of expert groups on the platformisation of economic sectors and the social sphere.

Following the meeting, a decision was made to continue developing comprehensive reports regarding the platformisation of these areas. In particular, the plan is to shortly particularise the target visions for platform development and itemise roadmaps for overcoming identified barriers.

The expert group reports represent an important contribution to the preparation of the national strategy for the development of digital platforms and the implementation of platform solutions in individual economic sectors and other spheres of activity through 2036. The strategy is being developed by the Government of the Russian Federation in accordance with the President’s directive following the 29^th St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
