Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Turkish side’s initiative.
The Turkish leader warmly congratulated Vladimir Putin on his convincing victory in the presidential election and wished him further success in his state activities for the benefit of the people of Russia.
The presidents expressed mutual desire to continue close cooperation for developing multifaceted Russian-Turkish relations. They discussed issues of enhancing international stability and security, in part, in the Black Sea region.
Vladimir Putin congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan and all Muslims in Turkiye on the holy month of Ramadan.
It was agreed to continue dialogue in various formats.
