On October 6, Moscow will host talks between Vladimir Putin and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev who will be paying an official visit to Russia.
There are plans to discuss prospects for the further development of allied Russia-Uzbekistan relations of comprehensive strategic partnership, as well as topical regional and international issues.
Following the talks, the leaders of Russia and Uzbekistan are expected to adopt a joint statement and sign a number of interdepartmental and commercial documents.
