During the telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin briefed President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his meeting with the US President in Anchorage.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev commended the progress in Russian-American dialogue at the highest level and stressed the importance of achieving a peaceful settlement in Ukraine.

The two leaders also discussed some topical issues on the bilateral agenda, focusing on developing mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.
