Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Instituting an Honorary Title Merited Local Self-Government Worker of the Russian Federation.
The Executive Order was signed with the aim of further streamlining the state award system of the Russian Federation.
The honorary title Merited Local Self-Government Worker of the Russian Federation will be awarded for personal achievements to highly professional local self-government officials, other persons holding municipal positions, and employees of local self-government authorities and non-profit organisations that are committed to the development of the local self-government system.
