Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Federal Law On Industrial Policy in the Russian Federation.
In accordance with the Federal Law, the goals of industrial policy include boosting the demand for Russian-made industrial products and encouraging manufacturers to create industrial products in Russia, increase the number of technological operations conducted in Russia, develop industrial cooperation and increase the share of Russian-made parts in the products they manufacture.
The law provides for the creation of a register of Russian industrial products that will be part of the state industrial information system. Inclusion in the register allows the use of the Russian Industrial Product mark.
It is also established that the state industrial information system should contain information on the digital passports of Russian industrial products, the needs for industrial products that do not have Russian-made counterparts, as well as Russian industrial products designed for import substitution.
