Launch ceremony for new medical facilities and a project to build a centre for research and scaling of technologies

Vladimir Putin took part, via videoconference, in a ceremony to launch several medical facilities and a project to build SIBUR Holding’s centre for research and scaling of technologies in Tatarstan.

Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov also participated in the videoconference as did the first president of Tatarstan, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev.

SIBUR’s centre for research and scaling of new generation technologies in Kazan is being created to boost the development of innovative technologies and forward-looking products for the key economic sectors and to enhance the industry’s stability and technological sovereignty.

The new medical facilities that opened in the capital of Tatarstan include a perinatal centre at Marat Sadykov City Hospital No. 7 and the Natasha hospice, built by the Anzhela Vavilova Charitable Foundation for Children with Leukaemia.
