The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 3 of the Federal Law On Education in the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law states expressly that the Government of the Russian Federation shall submit a national report on implementing state policy in the sphere of education to the houses of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation annually and no later than May 15 of the year following the year under review. This is part of measures to facilitate the implementation of a unified state policy in the sphere of education. The Government shall also post the report on its official website on the internet information and telecommunications network.
The Government shall determine the relevant procedure for preparing the national report. The houses of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation shall hear information from Government representatives regarding the national report at their meetings and in line with their regulations.
