Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Pressing bilateral matters, including the promotion of major joint projects in trade and investment as well as energy, were discussed. Both sides acknowledged the growth of bilateral trade. In addition, they expressed satisfaction with the close practical cooperation between several key agencies of both countries.
The leaders confirmed their willingness to further strengthen the allied relationship between Russia and Uzbekistan and agreed to maintain contact.
