Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping visited a photo exhibition on the development of Russian-Chinese relations, titled “The Unbreakable Friendship of Great Nations, the Strategic Partnership of Great Powers,” co-hosted by the TASS and Xinhua news agencies.
The photo exhibition was set up in the Seasons Hall of the Great Hall of the People to mark the 30th anniversary of partnership and strategic interaction and the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Good-Neighbourliness and Friendly Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China.
The photographs taken by photojournalists from the TASS and Xinhua news agencies highlight the responsible role of the two great powers in maintaining international justice and global stability, as well as the close ties and friendly relations between the presidents of Russia and the People’s Republic of China.
The majority of the exhibited photos were taken during bilateral and multilateral events, such as G20, BRICS and SCO summits, and the Belt and Road High-Level Forum for Economic Cooperation, as well as celebrations of the anniversaries of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the ceremonies to open industrial and transport facilities, and cultural and sports events attended by Russian and Chinese representatives.
During the tour of the exhibition, the distinguished guests were accompanied by TASS CEO Andrei Kondrashov and Xinhua CEO Fu Hua.
