The President signed Executive Order On Early Termination of the Mandate of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia. Vladimir Volkov was appointed acting Head of the Republic of Mordovia.

The President signed Executive Order On Early Termination of the Mandate of Samara Region Governor. Nikolai Merkushkin was appointed acting governor of the region.
