Vladimir Putin offered his condolences to the family and friends of the late Aman Tuleyev.
The message reads, in part:
“A true statesman whose biography is linked with crucial events in the history of Russia has passed away. Aman Tuleyev always strove to engage in meaningful work; he served Russia and accomplished a lot for Kuzbass. He was a truly popular governor whom the people trusted.”
Aman Tuleyev who headed the Kemerovo Region for 20 years, until 2018, passed away at the age of 79.
