Yelena Yampolskaya chaired a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Russkiy Mir Foundation

Presidential Adviser Yelena Yampolskaya chaired a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Russkiy Mir [Russian World] Foundation.

Members of the Supervisory Board reviewed and approved the foundation’s annual financial report for 2024 and spoke in favour of further enhancing the efforts undertaken with the foundation’s support.

The participants heard reports on the progress of the foundation’s grant campaigns, one of which was completed on January 15, 2025, and the other started on April 15, 2025.

Following the winter application period, the foundation’s Board selected 24 projects to promote and popularise the Russian language abroad and 17 cultural and humanitarian projects, with a total funding of 27 million rubles. The target audience of the planned events includes citizens of nearly 70 countries.

Presidential Adviser Yelena Yampolskaya proposed discussing forms of support for Russian centres in the territories newly reunited with Russia. The centres have opened at regional libraries and state universities in Donetsk, Gorlovka and Lugansk.

In conclusion, the Supervisory Board approved the decision to hold the 17th Assembly of the Russian World in Moscow from October 20 to 22, 2025.
