President Putin met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko

The two leaders discussed the draft of the Constitution of the Russia-Belarus Union State.

Mr Putin also told Mr Lukashenko about his talks with Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze and the joint work of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan on creating a common economic space. The Georgian President seemed interested in this issue, Mr Putin said.
