Vladimir Putin sent a message of condolences to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian on the deaths and mass destruction caused by an explosion in the port of Shahid Rajaee.
The message reads, in part:
“Please convey my words of sincere sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of those killed, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. We stand ready to provide the necessary assistance with incident relief efforts.”
