Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants in the anniversary 20th National Forum, The Health of the Nation – Basis of Russia’s Prosperity, which is taking place in Moscow.
The message reads, in part:
“For many years, your forum has been rightly regarded as an important, key event in the life of the professional community. It is a traditional venue attended by prominent scientists, medical practitioners, and representatives of ministries, agencies, and committees of the Federation Council and the State Duma. Discussions during the plenary session, open debates, and workshops touch upon a broad range of issues related to developing the medical science, introducing up-to-date health conservation technologies, improving the demographic situation, and creating conditions for the people’s long and active life. Moreover, the focus in the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and in the context of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory will certainly be on supporting special military operation participants and veterans, as well as their families and friends, by providing them with skilled medical and psychological assistance.
I am confident that as always, your meeting will be held in a creative and constructive atmosphere, inspiring the state, civil society institutions, and the business community to pool efforts in the name of important and ambitious goals. Your initiatives and proposals will undoubtedly be embodied in practical activities.”
