Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 20th Within the Family international festival of family and children’s films.
The message reads, in part:
“I am pleased to welcome you to the Within the Family film festival, which is taking place ahead of a wonderful holiday, the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.
Your creative forum serves a high and noble mission to strengthen humanistic values and preserve and promote the best traditions of Russian children’s and family films.
The films featured in the festival programme explore themes that resonate deeply with every individual, powerfully reminding us of what truly matters: love and family bonds, caring for parents and children, and the unwavering support of true friends. Particularly meaningful in this Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, are the numerous films that celebrate heroic chapters from our nation’s history and honour the enduring traditions of service to our Motherland.”
