At the forum, they will have the opportunity to meet with prominent journalists and experts to discuss a wide range of professional matters, get the support they need from like-minded people and learn from their more experienced colleagues so as to be able to carry out their projects.

Let me stress: much depends on you, the media professionals taking part in this forum, your competence, your sense of civic responsibility, and your confident use of modern communication technologies. It is largely thanks to you that our country, its history and present-day achievements benefit from unbiased and impartial coverage, while the world gains a truthful and accurate vision of Russia. Of course, your professional endeavours must help consolidate our multi-ethnic nation and foster patriotism, mutual support, camaraderie and a shared responsibility for the destiny of our Fatherland in our younger generation.”
