Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of Kardo International Street Culture and Sports Contest and Award.
The message reads, in part:
“I am delighted to note that your outstanding and unique project has been building up its creative potential year after year and has now firmly established itself as a major youth forum, held as part of the Russia – Land of Opportunity presidential platform. It stands out for its packed agenda, bold and creative programming and has always been popular among participants from Russia, as well as many other countries – those with a firm commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle, who are ready and willing to share their knowledge and skills with their peers and like-minded people.
The contestants who have made it into the finals will engage in heated sports battles in the coming days, along with various contests and intellectual quizzes, dance workshops and car races. They will also have the opportunity to meet prominent experts and attend many events that will be just as meaningful and inspiring. Of course, you will also have time to relax and enjoy the company of your friends.”

In 2025, 3,000 participants from 58 countries took part in the Kardo International Award, with its Grand Final taking place on August 21–24 in Stavropol, where finalists will compete in 12 categories: hip-hop, breaking, graffiti, DJing, parkour, freerunning, workout, tricking, skateboarding, BMX, kickscootering, and rap. The contest will also designate winners of the award for developing street art and sports.
