Vladimir Putin visited the laboratory complex of Sirius University of Science and Technology. The President had a look at the design, chemical, and analytical laboratories.
Explanations to the President were given by Chairman of the Sirius University Academic Council Roman Ivanov, head of the cancer immunotherapy research group Arseny Yuzhalin and deputy head of the cybersecurity research group Konstantin Gnidko.
The laboratory complex of Sirius University was launched in September 2022. It has cutting-edge equipment and allows addressing a wide range of challenges related to the use of genetic technologies in pharmaceuticals, medicine and agriculture, as well as conducting research in genetics, immunology, medical biotechnology and gene therapy, biology, and plant biotechnology.
Young scientists working at the laboratories were recruited by the university as part of the Scientific and Technological Development of the Sirius Federal Territory state programme.
