Your forum is rightly regarded as one of the most important and respected venues for showcasing the regions’ cutting-edge achievements in the social sphere and exchanging positive experiences and practices. It is gratifying that many initiatives have been implemented across the country and have yielded concrete results over the past years, largely thanks to the creative and unifying mission of your meetings.

This year’s forum is focused on a broad range of issues related to our demographic policy. I would like to emphasise that improving the demographic situation, supporting birth rates, enhancing the quality of life and promoting the values of large families are our national priorities. The fulfilment of this high-demand task calls for a comprehensive use of the potential of the state, non-profit organisations, businesses, the media, and the volunteer movement.
