Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, organisers, and guests of the 20th International Science Festival NAUKA 0+ (Science for Everyone.)
The message reads, in part:
“Your forum started out two decades ago at Lomonosov Moscow State University and is now rightfully considered one of the most outstanding and sought-after projects in education and popularisation of science and scientific and technical thought. Each year, it brings together renowned scientists and experts, educators and mentors, students and pupils at its venues across universities, schools, museums, and libraries, and fosters young people’s interest in innovation in various fields of knowledge, as well as in fundamental and applied research. It is gratifying to see that over the years, the festival – through its meaningful ideas, initiatives, and focus on innovation – has helped many young men and women choose their careers and make friends with like-minded individuals.
I am confident that this anniversary forum will be held in an atmosphere of creativity and innovation, serve to consolidate the scientific and educational community, and reaffirm its standing as a flagship event of the Decade of Science and Technology.”
