Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants of the 4th National Congress with International Participation, National Healthcare 2025.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the years, your distinguished forum has convincingly demonstrated its importance, providing Russian and international physicians, experts, and healthcare administrators with an excellent platform for comprehensive discussions on key issues in the development of healthcare, allowing them to share views on the paths and prospects for modernising medical institutions, implementing disease prevention programmes, and improving access to medicines.
Today, it is vital to continue enhancing the quality and accessibility of medical care through the active introduction of advanced medical and digital technologies, modern diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation methods, and by equipping hospitals, polyclinics, and first-aid stations with state-of-the-art equipment. Particular attention must also be devoted to staff training. The health and life expectancy of our citizens depend directly on these efforts.
I am confident that the proposals and recommendations developed during your meeting will contribute significantly to addressing these crucial tasks and, more broadly, to improving public healthcare policy and strengthening meaningful international cooperation.”
