On November 19, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, together with President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, will take part, via videoconference, in a ceremony marking the installation of the reactor pressure vessel of the first power unit of the Egyptian El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant.

The plant is being constructed by State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom under the 2015 Russia-Egypt intergovernmental agreement. The NPP will feature four power units with a total capacity of 4,800 MW.

Later that same day, Vladimir Putin will hold talks in Moscow with President of the Council of Ministers of the Togolese Republic Faure Gnassingbé, who is in Russia on a working visit.

The two leaders will discuss issues pertaining to the further development of the political and trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Togo as well as current regional matters.
