The President signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on Cooperation in Arranging Insurance for the Russian Federation Citizens Permanently Residing in the Republic of South Ossetia, Through the System of Compulsory Medical Insurance of the Russian Federation and Provision to Them of Medical Assistance in Medical Organisations of the Russian Federation.

The discussion focused on the use of digital technology in the early detection of cancer.

During his working trip to St Petersburg, Vladimir Putin visited the Almazov National Medical Research Centre.
