The Commissioner took part in the meeting of a council on the placement of children in state institutions established based on the nationwide inspection’s recommendations.

Results of the Commissioner for Success career development programme have been announced at the Mashuk Knowledge Centre in the Stavropol Territory. Five youths have been selected for employment at the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights. Thirty-five have been invited to undergo paid internships.

With the support of Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova and through the mediation of the State of Qatar, an 11-year-old girl who had been temporarily residing in Ukraine was reunited with her mother in Russia.

Following the nationwide inspection of the system for the prevention of social orphanhood, Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova made a working trip to the Tula Region. The Children’s Commissioner met with the head of the region Dmitry Milyayev, held a meeting with heads of the social orphanhood prevention system bodies, spoke with families, and participated in court proceedings.

With the assistance of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova and through the mediation of the State of Qatar, one boy reunited with his relatives in Russia and 11 children reunited with their relatives in Ukraine.

Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova made a working trip to the Sverdlovsk Region based on the results of the nationwide inspection of the social orphanhood prevention system. She visited children’s facilities, held a meeting with the heads of social orphanhood prevention establishments, and met with families.

Vladimir Putin held a meeting on social issues. The discussion focused on healthcare and demographics. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov, and Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko.

Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations to the Russian national team of school students who took part in the 57^th International Chemistry Olympiad in Dubai, UAE: Konstantin Gunko, Viktor Demidov, Vladimir Yelistratov, and Fyodor Kuznetsov.

Two more children – sisters aged ten and six – have reunited with their families in Russia with the assistance from Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova and through mediation efforts of the State of Qatar.

The President held a meeting on education with Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov and Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov.
