Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.
The discussion focussed on the situation in Yemen, the talks underway in Lausanne on the Iranian nuclear programme, the situation in southeast Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
Current issues pertaining to Russia’s socioeconomic development were also on the agenda.
Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev and permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov.
