The President held, via videoconference, a briefing session with permanent members of the Security Council.
A number of issues related to preparations for Victory Day celebrations were discussed.
Taking part in the meeting were Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov.
