Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Murmansk Region Governor Andrei Chibis, via videoconference.

Presidential Aide and State Council Secretary Igor Levitin, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov and Sakhalin Region Governor Valery Limarenko held an expanded meeting of the State Council Commission on Investment.

At the end of his working trip to the Murmansk Region, the President met with region Governor Andrei Chibis.

A joint meeting of the State Council commissions on Economy and Finance and on Energy was held as part of the 26^th St Petersburg International Economic Forum. The participants discussed ways to create conditions for advanced growth of the Russian economy.

Andrei Chibis reported to the President on the results of the Murmansk Region’s socioeconomic development over a period of three years as well as on the upcoming projects.

Created under Presidential Executive Order of March 5, 2022, the State Council working group on economic issues and countering the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) held a meeting via videoconference to discuss efforts to shield the economy and the social safety net in the regions from the sanctions’ pressures.
